Our team is responsible for the development and improvement of UltraPlay’s betting platform, used as a full technology solution for clients worldwide. Currently, we are expanding and we are looking for an Automation QA Engineer to join our Sofia office. 

As an Automation QA Engineer at UltraPlay you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and usability of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, create test cases, execute test plans, and report defects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities;
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases;
• Report and track the life cycle of discovered bugs;
• Create, verify, and manage tickets in Jira;
• Build and maintain the Automation Test Framework;
• Set various test automation approaches – API, UI, performance, and others;
• Continuously adapt the Test Automation framework as per best practices and according to the specifics of the industry;
• Design and execute automated tests;
• Define methods and metrics for test effectiveness to achieve higher product quality;
• Collaborate with other engineering team members to find the best methods for solving problems in apps and systems.

The ideal candidate has:

• Кnowledge of QA methodologies and testing techniques;
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer, creating and maintaining automated test projects;
• Coding experience in high-level programming languages, preferably in C#;
• Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes;
• Good understanding of OOP principles and best practices;
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases;
• Experience with testing REST APIs;
• Working knowledge of test management tools (e.g. Jira, Xray, Zephyr, Bugzilla, Testlink …etc.);
• Attention to detail in terms of SUT (System Under Test);
• Experience with test automation within CI/CD pipelines;

An advantage will be:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Working knowledge of SQL or other databases;
• Experience with  JIRA, Confluence or similar; experience with CI/CD tools; QA in terms of Scrum or Kanban process.
